Dear Constituents,

Thank you for your interest in my campaign!  I hope this website gives you plentiful information about me and why I chose to run for Magistrate in Christian County.  I hope you will see I am passionate and well-qualified to be your conservative voice for District 7.

I have had many people ask me why I am stepping into politics at this stage in my life.  My answer is simple: I want to “give back” to the community I have been a part of my whole life.  I have served extensively statewide and nationally for my profession, as well as locally on the board of the health department, but I view serving as Magistrate to be another way to serve people outside the healthcare industry.  Given my extensive background in agriculture and small business ownership, I feel I am uniquely qualified to represent District 7 in many different ways.

From my small business background, I know what it is like to have balanced budgets and spend money appropriately, and I feel very strongly our government should do the same with our tax money.  Our government exists for the betterment of our community and taxpayers, not the benefit of the government.  For those in the agricultural community, you know how razor- thin those margins are and I plan to use the same “sharp pencil” you do to advocate for responsible budgets and government spending.

Lastly, as a husband, father, and son, I want our community to treat each other with respect and compassion and to leave a better future for generations to come.  I hope you will honor me with your support and your vote on May 19th so we can move Christian County forward, together!
